The Umalas Equestrian Resort is situated near the beach in the lush green rice fields of Umalas. In the south west part of Bali, just outside fashionable Seminyak, in Umalas, a charming Balinese village of paddy fields and calm.
25 minutes to the international airport, and 25 minutes on horseback to tranquil Batu Belig beach.
The Umalas Stables is the most comprehensive riding facility on the island.
The resort is situated on 1,6 hectares, combining tropical gardens and elegant accommodation with International Standard Horse facilities.

Thirty-two horses are stabled at Umalas: Thoroughbreds, Warm-Bloods, Stock Horses and Thoroughbred Crosses, as well as ponies of different breeds. Some horses are imported from Australia and Europe, to provide a selection of disciplines and sizes to suit every rider's needs. High quality English tack ensures safety and comfort for every ride. Qualified, experienced instructors teach beginners through to advanced riders. Dressage and Show Jumping lessons are held in our riding hall and outdoor arena. The Umalas Equestrian Resort offers riding tuition for children and adults alike.

Guests can enjoy rides along Bali's beautiful beaches and along the verdant rice terraces of local villages. Riders of all levels can observe traditional Balinese life viewed from horseback and will take home unforgettable memories of magical rides from the land of a thousand smiles.

Children and beginners can experience rice field and beach tours, accompanied by their own personal guide.

We offer children to learn through lunge lessons, vaulting, dressage and riding camps and give them the opportunity to bond with the horses.

The Umalas Equestrian Resort offers a riding hall and an outdoor arena. The outdoor arena has stunning views of Bali's beautiful rice paddies and our riding hall allows guests to ride even on a rainy day.

The Umalas Equestrian Resort encourages and welcomes outside guests, of all ages, to join all the aforementioned activities, but suggests reserving ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
Those who don't wish to ride may enjoy the various facilities offered such as dining at Lestari Grill & Pasta, poolside, where dips are enjoyed during the heat of the day, or for younger guests the playground.
